I recently got my hands on a great book by makeup artist turned cosmetic line guru Bobbi Brown. I just love how she went from being a top notch makeup artist and took that passion and developed her own line of cosmetic products, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics! Her line is very is filled with basics and essentials, which is what she specializes in. The book I have is entitled Bobbi Brown Beauty: The Ultimate Beauty Resource, and features commentary by Annemarie Iverson, who is the beauty and fashion news director of Harper's Bazaar. I LOVE liquid eyeliner! I always have to have it in my makeup bag! I think it is such a great finish to the makeup applying process. In the past I have experimented with many brands of liquid eyeliner from Maybelline to Too Faced to Givenchy and I hadn't completely fell in love with any of them even though I love those brands. I noticed that a good friend of mine always had such a perfect pitch black line on her top and I'll admit, I was jealous! I gave in and asked her what brand of liner she used and she told me it was L'Oreal's Telescopic Precision Liquid Eyeliner. I went and bought it and I have been in love every since! It glides on very smooth and lasts all day long with no smudging. I bought the carbon black, which is the blackest black, because I like for my liner to make bold statements. This one truly does that! What I love most about it is the slanted tip of the brush, this makes for a very precise line and not having to do multiple lines! Saves me so much time and energy!
