Many people find that the powdered finish on these shutters looks tacky and it's important to note that the warranty on these particular shutters is only about three years.

Self Defense, Cell Defense!

Primordiale Cell Defense by Lancome is a very rewarding product. Its a skin protecting serum that visibly reduces fine lines and immediately leaves skin feeling softer and smoother. I'll be honest....I'm not usually a fan of such products because I don't think they work, but this product does actually leave my skin feeling smooth. When I first apply it it feels like it leaves a layer over my skin to protect it. For a 1.0 Fl oz of this serum, you're looking to spend $64. Its a great product to say the least but too pricey, this was given to me as gift otherwise I would not buy it!

Hello Flawless!

One of the recent products that I brought from Benefit was one of their powder foundations called Hello Flawless. I'm just now transitioning from buying only liquid foundations to the powder ones thanks to the Hello Flawless. I started to get annoyed with liquid because I felt like I was just painting my face! The girl who did my makeover suggested that I try this powder because it's very silky, smooth and won't feel to heavy on my skin. After using it for a few days, I absolutely love this product! It's fairly inexpensive, retailing for $34 each, but it is definitely worth it! Its SPF 15 and comes with both a sponge and a brush applicator for dual application choices. It comes in six different shades ranging from neutral/champagne to deep hazelnut. Great buy!

Friends with Benefits!

Benefit Cosmetics is one of my FAVORITE lines of beauty products. For my birthday yesterday, my gift to myself was a whole new drawer of cosmetics from Benefit. I became a fan of theirs almost two years ago, at a Macy's counter they were giving away free makeovers and samples so I wanted to try it. Loved it every since! What I love the most about the brand is the classy feel it has. The way they advertise their products is reminiscent of the 1950's. The long scarves, pedal pusher capri's, the pink car and the sassy attitudes! For the next few days I will be spotlighting a different product that I bought from them so get ready! For those of you who aren't familiar with Benefit...you should be!

Hello all! WELCOME and thank you for tuning in to my very first blog! I will periodically be updating you guys with all of my favorite beauty products, what's new, what's hot and everything in between. I thought today would be the perfect day to start as I just bought this new nail polish that I absolutely love. Its by Orly and the color is called Basket Case. When it comes to my nails I don't take too many risk, a simple french tip will do just fine...but since its the summertime I thought I would go outside the box and try something new. Glad I did!
